  • Session Summary: Date of acquisition, candidate age, window difference (± days), adjusted chronological age
  • Participant Information: Scheduled scan time, repeated visit, family arrival time
  • Family Preparation (Pre-Visit): MRI sound exposure, sleep practice, medications in the past 24 hours
  • Travel to Visit: Transportation method, whether the baby fell asleep in the car
  • Preparation at Scan Site: Sleep location, lighting and sounds, feeding before the scan, caregiver soothing methods, scan materials
  • Sleep Information: Time to fall asleep, time first asleep, initial sleep position
  • Transfer to Scanner: Transfer method, whether the child woke during transfer
MRI Data Summary Form🔗
  • Scan Log: Scan start and interruption times, scan quality grade, FIRMM quality metrics, images acquired
  • Summary: Reasons for incomplete scan, modalities acquired, whether at least 7.5 minutes of low-motion fMRI data were acquired
  • Post-Scan: Family departure time

The Pre-Scan Questionnaire is completed by HBCD Study staff when planning MRI procedures. It captures caregiver-reported sleep routines, habits, and environment, as summarized in the table below (see data dictionary for full details). Note that missingness may vary across sites.
