This is a modified version of ECHO-wide Cohort Version 01.20 / November 30, 2018 Version “Caregiver Occupation and Employment”. Caregiver employment and industry can provide information on socioeconomic position, shift work, and take-home environmental exposures that can adversely affect the health of children in the home, especially at young ages when children spend time on the floor and have hand-to-mouth behaviors (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, 2024; National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, 1995).
